What is Exam photo & signature resizer?

Online application forms for Indian exams reject photos that are a few pixels or kilobytes off. This tool crops your image to the right aspect ratio, resizes it to the exact pixels and repeatedly adjusts JPG quality until the file lands inside the required KB range. Each preset shows its official source and a Last verified date (3 Nov 2026 for SSC, UPSC, NEET, JEE Main and IBPS).

When to use it

  • Prepare SSC CGL, CHSL or MTS photo and signature uploads.
  • Resize photos for UPSC and IBPS PO/Clerk applications.
  • Meet NEET and JEE Main upload specifications.
  • Create a custom size for any other form.

Tips for the best result

  • Use a recent photo with a plain light background.
  • Sign in black ink on white paper and photograph it in good light.
  • Always confirm specifications in the official notification – they change.

Limits and privacy

Preset values are a convenience and must be verified against the latest official notification. If an image cannot fit the KB range, we tell you why. Processing happens entirely in your browser, so your data never leaves your device and there is nothing to sign up for. Files are processed in your browser and never uploaded.

Many people who use Exam photo & signature resizer also need Compress image or Resize image, and Crop image is one click away. Every MondayKit tool works the same way – open the page, add your input, get the result – with no account, no watermark and no upload.

Frequently asked questions

What photo size does SSC need?

None – SSC 2026 forms capture your photo live in the form, so there is no photo file. Only the signature is uploaded: JPEG, 10–20 KB (SSC CGL 2026 notice, last verified 3 Nov 2026).

How do I resize a signature to 10–20 KB?

Choose your exam (or Custom), switch to Signature, crop your signature and click Make image. We adjust quality until the file is inside the KB range.

Why was my photo rejected?

Usually wrong pixel dimensions, a file outside the KB range, the wrong format, or a photo that does not meet background and face rules in the notification.

Are the presets up to date?

Each preset shows a last-verified date and a reminder to verify against the official notification. Use Custom if your notification differs.

Are my photos uploaded?

No. Cropping, resizing and compression all happen in your browser.
