What is Rotate PDF?

Rotate PDF fixes pages that were scanned or exported in the wrong orientation. The rotation is written into the PDF itself, so the pages stay rotated when you open the file in Adobe Acrobat, macOS Preview, Chrome or any other viewer – not just while you are looking at it here.

When to use it

  • Fix landscape tables that appear sideways in a report.
  • Correct phone scans that came out upside down.
  • Rotate a single wide drawing inside an otherwise portrait document.
  • Prepare a document for printing so every page faces the same way.

Tips for the best result

  • Each click rotates a page 90° clockwise; click again for 180° or 270°.
  • Thumbnails show exactly how each page will look after saving.
  • Combine with Organize PDF if you also need to reorder pages.

Limits and privacy

Rotation is lossless – content is not re-rendered. Password-protected PDFs need to be unlocked first. Processing happens entirely in your browser, so your data never leaves your device and there is nothing to sign up for. Files are processed in your browser and never uploaded.

Many people who use Rotate PDF also need Organize PDF or Rotate / flip image, and Merge PDF is one click away. Every MondayKit tool works the same way – open the page, add your input, get the result – with no account, no watermark and no upload.

Frequently asked questions

How do I rotate one page only?

Click the rotate button under that page’s thumbnail. Each click turns it 90° clockwise; other pages stay as they are.

Will the rotation stay when I open it elsewhere?

Yes. The rotation is saved inside the PDF, so it persists in Acrobat, Preview, Chrome and any other viewer.

Can I rotate a scanned PDF?

Yes. Scanned pages are rotated just like any other page, without re-rendering or losing quality.

Is there a file size limit?

There is no hard limit. Files above 100 MB trigger a warning because they may be slow on phones.
