What is Split PDF?
Split PDF divides one document into several smaller PDFs. You can explode it into single pages, cut it into equal chunks, or type exact page ranges. Each range becomes its own file and, when there is more than one, they are bundled into a ZIP so you only download once.
When to use it
- Send only the relevant chapter of a long manual to a colleague.
- Separate a scanned batch of invoices into one PDF per invoice.
- Break a big document into parts small enough for an email attachment limit.
- Pull the signature pages out of a contract.
Tips for the best result
- Ranges are 1-based and inclusive: 2-4 means pages 2, 3 and 4.
- Use commas to create several files at once: 1-2,3-5,6.
- To get one file with a mix of pages, use Extract PDF pages instead.
Limits and privacy
Encrypted PDFs must be unlocked first. The split keeps page content exactly as it was; interactive form fields may not survive in every part. Processing happens entirely in your browser, so your data never leaves your device and there is nothing to sign up for. Files are processed in your browser and never uploaded.
Related tasks
Many people who use Split PDF also need Extract PDF pages or Merge PDF, and Delete PDF pages is one click away. Every MondayKit tool works the same way – open the page, add your input, get the result – with no account, no watermark and no upload.
