What is Merge PDF?
Merge PDF joins several PDF documents into one file. Every page of every input is copied, in the order you set, into a brand-new PDF. Because the merge is done with the open-source pdf-lib library running inside your browser tab, invoices, contracts and scanned IDs stay on your computer or phone.
When to use it
- Combine monthly bank statements into one file for a loan application.
- Put a cover letter, CV and certificates together before emailing a recruiter.
- Join scanned pages that your scanner saved as separate PDFs.
- Assemble chapters of a report written by different people.
Tips for the best result
- Name files with a number prefix (01, 02…) and they are easy to put in order.
- If you need to drop or rotate single pages, merge first and then use Organize PDF.
- Very large scans merge faster on a desktop browser than on an older phone.
Limits and privacy
Password-protected PDFs cannot be merged until the password is removed. Bookmarks and form fields from the source files are not carried over; the visible pages are. Processing happens entirely in your browser, so your data never leaves your device and there is nothing to sign up for. Files are processed in your browser and never uploaded.
Related tasks
Many people who use Merge PDF also need Organize PDF or Split PDF, and JPG to PDF is one click away. Every MondayKit tool works the same way – open the page, add your input, get the result – with no account, no watermark and no upload.
