How to capture a clean impression
Press your left thumb on the ink pad, roll it slightly on plain white paper and let it dry. Photograph it straight on in daylight, without shadows. The crop box above is locked to a square; frame the impression with a small white margin and click Make – we resize to 240 × 240 px and compress into 20–50 KB.
Common rejection reasons
- File outside the KB range (too big or too small).
- Wrong format – the portal expects JPG/JPEG, not PNG or HEIC (convert iPhone photos with HEIC to JPG).
- Coloured or shadowed background instead of plain white.
- Face too small, ears hidden, or a cap, mask or dark glasses.
- Signature in CAPITAL letters, in pencil, or on lined paper.
