iPhone photos to PDF without uploading them
iPhones save photos as HEIC, which many upload portals and email recipients cannot open. This page decodes HEIC in your browser with the open-source heic2any library, converts each photo to a high-quality JPEG and places it on its own PDF page with pdf-lib. Your photos never leave the device.
Output at a glance
| Setting | What you get |
|---|---|
| Pages | One per HEIC photo, in the order added |
| Page size | Matches each photo (no cropping) |
| Image inside PDF | JPEG at the quality you choose (90% by default) |
| Typical page from a 12 MP iPhone photo | About 4032 × 3024 px |
Tips
- Large batches can use a lot of memory on phones; convert 10–20 photos at a time.
- Need A4 pages, margins or a mix of HEIC and JPG? Use Image to PDF.
- Need a smaller file for an upload limit? Run the PDF through Compress PDF.
Other HEIC options
To keep images instead of a PDF, use HEIC to JPG and pick JPG or PNG. Live Photos and HEIC files with several images convert the first image only.
