How it works
Each page is rendered and rebuilt as a JPEG image, and the quality is lowered until the whole file is at most 300 KB. A one- or two-page certificate scan usually stays sharp at that size. For long documents, upload only the pages asked for – extract them first with Extract pages.
Tips
- Scan in colour at 150–200 DPI; higher DPI only adds bytes.
- Crop away blank borders before making the PDF with JPG to PDF.
- If the result is under 50 KB, use the original or a sharper scan.
